In the introduction, the closeness among Spanish and Portuguese is explored, since they present advantages and difficulties during the learning process of Spanish as a foreign language, which provides the student with a familiar environment when the structures of Spanish are studied. Therefore, the objective is aimed to analyze the lexical interferences of Portuguese in the Spanish of Angolan students. For this, the methods within Contrastive Linguistics that were used are: Error analysis, error analysis and interlingua, as well as text analysis, the analytical-synthetic method to study the facts from the decomposition of lexical interferences and the inductive-deductive to explain particular facts such as the lexical interferences of Portuguese in texts written in Spanish by Angolan students. Regarding the results, different interferences related to false friends or cognates could be located, especially those that affect the use of nouns, adjectives, adverbs and verb forms. The most common interferences were the Hispanicization of the Portuguese form, the use of Portuguese and the orthographic modification of the Portuguese form. In the conclusions, it has been determined that, to establish the main lexical interferences, the Interlanguage model is more effective to analyze in detail the first contacts of the Lusophone student with Spanish. In addition, this type of study can provide a more accurate view of the level of student learning and guidance in the educational teaching process.
