deportivas.
The work started from the objective aimed at proposing exercises to improve the
efficiency in the control of pitchers, in the 9-10 year old category of the Yaguajay
municipality. The methods used are of the theoretical level: the historical and
logical, analytical-synthetic, the inductive-deductive and the system approach;
from the empirical level: the observation, the interview, and the analysis of
documents to obtain valuable information about the investigated problem, from
the statistical mathematical level the measurement that is used as the test
instrument to verify the control of the pitchers, at the beginning to carry out the
diagnosis the analysis and interpretation of the data obtained as a result of the
diagnosis. The instruments used are the observation guide (field, structured,
participant) and the interview guide. The results of the diagnosis showed that
throwing control can be improved, increasing concentration and attention to the
Strike Zone, without deviating from the main objective, which is to improve the
throwers' aim. The exercises are adapted to the category, are well structured,
have a logical order, are applicable, are easy for athletes to master and can be
applied in other sports areas.
