Resumen:
The development of the writing skills in the English language in Higher Education constitutes one of the main objectives of the Integrated English Practice Course in Foreign Languages Major. The Major Paper is oriented to the elaboration of teaching activities to contribute to the treatment and development of the writing skills in the students from foreign languages José Marti University. The dialectic and materialist approach as the general method and some research methods were applied in the investigative process to confirm the real state of development of the skills, so as to validate the proposed teaching activities. The scientific novelty of the Major Paper is reflected on the characteristics of the proposed teaching activities which vary according to the diagnosis of the sample to contribute to favor the students’ preparation to write in English with the needed skills for Higher Education
